The North End Teams proved they had what it takes to win the 1st annaul NorthWest Championships!

The Coed E division Started off at Steel Lake in the morning. Grey clouds covered the sky and threatened to put a halt to the games, but the sun cleared the Sky's quickly and the temperature shot up to make the morning games a bit of a challenge, when you get no breaks, and no concession stand. Coed Mens Walk Rule

If a guy is walked with less then 2 outs does the girl have to hit or does she have her choice?

I have always played in league and tournaments that only with 2 outs does the girl have the choice other then that it a double and she has to hit.

Jason Verador past away September 15th. He will be missed.

Jason coached and played softball for a number of years in the Puget Sound area!

Once we get more information, we will pass it along.

I would like to thank everyone who came out and participated in the event. You guys are the best, and really showed support for our mutual friend.
We raised $400.00 which was our goal to go with the $2600.00 that was raised at the Wayne's World Event.
Jim's Pharmacy, everyone on that team thank you for the donation of $100.00 that meant a lot to me that you guys did that.
Combat, Frank and Cooper thank you for donating the awards, and banners. You guys are great...

Please pass this on to all you're team.
Federal Way Parks has a "No Alcohol" in the parks. There will be plain clothes officers walking around during the day at the fields and parking lot.
John Hutton has asked that this also be passed on. Celebration Park no longer allows teams to take batting practice on the Soccer fields below field 1. Please don't use this area, it might be in use by league Soccer teams any way.

After being rained out on Saturday the Tournament was moved to the RAC in Lacy on Sunday. Heritage fields never stood a chance with the rains on Friday Night.
It was a dark and ominous start on Sunday, with the 9:00 am games starting just after a brief rain storm. Things looked promissing untill the 10:00 am games.
