NSA Washington State Point Standings

In state point standings will be updated here during the 2008 season. Point standings will be updated on a weekly basis and will occur each Thursday, or sooner pending tournament results being posted. If you feel that your teams points are not calculated correctly, please email me at nbsoftball4@yahoo.com and I will investigate and make corrections if warranted.

NSA of Washington's Bonus Points Program:
(to ratify the bonus points your team will need to have their online roster and complete (min 10 players) on the NSA National website by May 1st, 2009.

Bonus Points Components:

NSA Sanctioned League Teams will receive - 20 bonus Points
Teams who play up in an event at that classification will receive double points (IE: E team plays in a D division as a D team) based on their finish in that tournament.
Travel Points - (grid with mileage and points coming soon)
Online Roster (min 10 players) on the NSA National website - 50 points

Washington NSA Points System will equal your teams National NSA points plus any bonus points accrued from the Washington NSA bonus point program.

The Washington NSA Point System will be used for STATE/NW CHAMPIONSHIP SEEDING - The team with the higher point total (IE 100 pts vs 85 pts - 100 pts has the option) at the plate meeting to be home or visitor. This will be in effect for all games - Teams missing the managers meeting will lose that option for their first game and/or possible subsequent games.

The following teams are eligible for bonus points in 2009:
(I will update this every couple of weeks, with a final update on May 1st - teams that have thier roster online at PlayNSA by May 1st will be eligible (10 players minimum)

The only Eastside tournament results that I've seen are the Cinco de Mayo results, I'll update those tomorrow. In order for me to update point standings, I need to see the results either at the NSA Washington site or the Play NSA site. And I need teams to be sanctioned or I won't give them any points for the tournaments they played without a sanction number.

Q, it's the same ole thing every year. Wait till about a month away from state then people will start bitching and Jon and Steve will have to bust ass to make sure all the points are correct. Seems easy, but I guess going onto a website is to much trouble.

its all good was just seeing if you forgot us cause we've played in 5 turny's now so just checking also didnt we get bonus points for roster just trying to keep up on it so we know how many point for worlds we need cause avalon sand bagging fools keep knocking us out

I play for the Red Ducks and we won an E Tournament in Richland about a month ago and I don't see us anywhere either.

I was also wondering why there isn't an online Tournament Schedule? I went to the Tournament section and it said to click on the pdf. There is no link?

all of the "bonus points" do not count on the national point system those are in state only as far as I understand it.

The National points are what they take the Superworlds Berth from not in state

Bonus points are for State Tournament draw. Super World Berths are given to the National Points leaders in each State, one per class. That's why it's important for tournament directors to put their tournament results at Play NSA, the National site.

Can we start dropping TDs that do not do this?? I know that there are very few people willing to run tournaments but this is part of their responsibility as TDs. It does not need to happen immediately but I think a 2 week time frame is fair.

There are tournaments from April that have not been entered!!
